West Town Farm - About Us

West Town Farm is a beautiful organic farm with a difference. Not only are we just 3 miles from Exeter, creating a perfect escape from city life, we also offer a variety of possibilities for you to be a part of West Town Farm.

The farm is rented by Andy Bragg from the Church of England. Our main enterprise is beef, reared organically and grass-fed. Our beef is hung for two weeks, to ensure a rich taste and smooth texture. Also on a smaller scale we have pigs and grow some vegetables. We sell all our produce as locally as we can. What makes West Town Farm different is the input from others. Having OrganicARTS based here, plus a unique mix of staff and volunteers, brings an intriguing mix of art, education and constant development. However it is essential that we are a real farm to survive, and consistent support from our local customers is what keeps us going.

Andy feels strongly that everyone should be able to enjoy the countryside, understand farming and benefit from local produce. We want to see people here, learning about the farm and seeing how we produce food. It is also important that everyone has an enjoyable time, so we organise a variety of fun public events throughout the year. We also have an abundance of space that can be used for:-
